Affiliate Programme Terms and Conditions

These Affiliate Programme Terms and Conditions govern participation in the TheBeginnersGuide.store Affiliate Programme.

The programme is operated by ASR Consult Ltd, trading through its brands GizmoDirect.store and TheBeginnersGuide.store. References to “we”, “us” and “our” mean ASR Consult Ltd. References to “you” and “your” mean the affiliate, creator, publisher, website owner, social media account owner or other person applying to or participating in the programme.

GoAffPro is used as our affiliate tracking platform. GoAffPro does not sell our products, fulfil our orders, or decide our refund policy.

1. Purpose of the programme

The purpose of the programme is to allow approved affiliates and creators to promote our books and digital products in exchange for commission on qualifying sales.

A qualifying sale is a completed and correctly tracked purchase made through an approved affiliate link, referral link, or approved discount code provided through our affiliate system.

2. Approval of affiliates

All affiliates must apply to join the programme. We reserve the right to approve, reject, suspend, or remove any affiliate at our sole discretion.

We may reject or remove an affiliate if their website, social media account, content, advertising method, or conduct is unsuitable for our brand.

Unsuitable content includes illegal, misleading, harmful, hateful, adult, violent, discriminatory, defamatory, spam-based, fake engagement, or intellectual-property-infringing content.

3. Approved promotional methods

Affiliates may promote our products using approved referral links, product links, discount codes, social media posts, blogs, videos, email newsletters, websites and other agreed promotional methods.

Affiliates must use the correct tracking links or codes provided through the affiliate platform. We are not responsible for missed commission where the affiliate has used an incorrect, broken, expired or unapproved link or code.

Affiliates may not claim commission manually for sales that were not correctly tracked.

4. Digital products and Filemonk delivery

Many of our products are digital downloads, including PDF books, guides, samples and other downloadable content.

Digital products are sold through our Shopify store and may be delivered automatically using Filemonk or another digital fulfilment service. Filemonk is used only for delivery of digital files and download links after a customer has placed an order.

Affiliates must not upload, share, copy, distribute, resell, email or otherwise provide our downloadable files directly to customers or the public.

Affiliates must only direct customers to the official TheBeginnersGuide.store product pages, checkout pages, free sample pages or other approved links provided by us.

5. Downloadable content and refunds

Due to the nature of digital downloads, downloadable products are generally non-refundable once the download link, file access, or digital content has been supplied, except where required by law.

By purchasing downloadable content from TheBeginnersGuide.store, customers receive access to digital files shortly after purchase. Once digital access has been provided, the customer acknowledges that the digital product cannot be returned in the same way as a physical item.

This does not affect any statutory rights a customer may have if digital content is faulty, not as described, or where a refund is required by applicable law.

If an order is refunded, cancelled, reversed, charged back, suspected to be fraudulent, or otherwise not completed successfully, no affiliate commission will be payable on that order. If commission has already been recorded or paid on such an order, we reserve the right to deduct or offset that amount from future commission payments.

6. Device and software responsibility

Customers are responsible for ensuring that their device, software, internet connection, storage space and PDF reader or other required application are suitable for downloading, opening and using our digital products.

We take reasonable care to provide digital files in standard formats, such as PDF, but we are not responsible for problems caused by the customer’s own device, phone, computer, tablet, software, operating system, internet connection, storage limits, security settings, antivirus software, third-party applications or user error.

We are not liable for any damage, malfunction, data loss, loss of access, performance issue, virus warning, software conflict or other problem affecting a customer’s device after downloading or attempting to access our content, unless the issue is directly caused by a fault in the digital content supplied by us and liability cannot be excluded by law.

Customers should use appropriate security software and ensure their device is properly maintained before downloading any digital content.

7. Commission

Commission is paid only on qualifying sales that are correctly tracked through the affiliate platform.

The commission rate will be shown in the affiliate dashboard or communicated separately by us. We may change commission rates, campaign rules, eligible products or excluded products at any time.

Unless otherwise stated, commission is not payable on free samples, free downloads, self-purchases, refunded orders, cancelled orders, chargebacks, fraudulent orders, suspicious orders, incorrectly tracked orders, or orders generated through spam, misleading advertising or prohibited promotional methods.

Commission is not payable on physical books sold through Amazon, KDP or any third-party platform unless we expressly include them in the programme.

8. Payment of commission

Commission payments will normally be reviewed and paid monthly, subject to a reasonable holding period to allow for refunds, cancellations, chargebacks and fraud checks.

We may set a minimum payout threshold. If the minimum threshold has not been reached, commission may be carried forward to the next payment period.

Payments may be made by PayPal, bank transfer, or another method chosen by us.

Affiliates are responsible for providing accurate payment details and for declaring and paying any tax, National Insurance, VAT, income tax or other obligations arising from their commission earnings.

9. Advertising disclosure

Affiliates must comply with all applicable advertising, consumer protection, platform and social media rules.

Affiliates must make their commercial relationship with us clear when promoting our products.

On social media, affiliate content should be clearly labelled at the beginning of the post, caption, video description or visible content using clear wording such as:

Affiliates must not make false, exaggerated or misleading claims about our products. Affiliates must not guarantee results, income, grades, educational outcomes, health benefits, financial outcomes or any other benefit that we have not expressly approved in writing.

10. Brand and content use

We may provide affiliates with images, videos, product descriptions, captions, book mockups, logos, samples or other promotional material.

Affiliates may use approved promotional material only for the purpose of promoting TheBeginnersGuide.store products as part of this programme.

All intellectual property rights in our books, covers, PDFs, samples, images, logos, website content and promotional materials remain owned by us or our licensors.

Affiliates must not copy, resell, redistribute, upload, share or commercially exploit our digital books, samples or promotional materials except as expressly allowed by us in writing.

11. Prohibited activity

Affiliates must not:

• buy through their own affiliate link;

• place affiliate links on coupon, voucher or deal websites without permission;

• run paid search ads using our brand names, book titles, author names or domain names without written approval;

• use spam emails, bulk unsolicited messages or automated direct messages;

• pretend to be TheBeginnersGuide.store, GizmoDirect.store, ASR Consult Ltd or one of our authors;

• copy, resell or distribute our digital books or samples;

• use fake reviews, fake testimonials, fake urgency or misleading discounts;

• make claims that are not supported by our official product pages;

• promote our products alongside unsuitable, unlawful or offensive content.

12. Customer relationship

Customers who purchase through affiliate links are customers of TheBeginnersGuide.store.

We are responsible for the Shopify checkout, customer order, Filemonk digital delivery process, and customer service relating to the order.

Affiliates must not make promises about refunds, delivery, product access, support or pricing unless those promises match our official website terms.

13. Changes to the programme

We may change the programme, commission rates, eligible products, excluded products, promotional rules, payout methods or these terms at any time.

Continued participation in the programme after changes are made means the affiliate accepts the updated terms.

14. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate an affiliate account at any time if we believe the affiliate has breached these terms, acted dishonestly, damaged our brand, created legal risk, or generated suspicious or unsuitable traffic.

On termination, the affiliate must stop using our links, codes, content, images, logos and promotional materials.

Commission may be withheld, cancelled or adjusted where we believe there has been fraud, breach of terms, refund activity, chargebacks, misleading promotion, self-purchasing or other misuse of the programme.

15. Relationship between the parties

Affiliates are independent contractors. Nothing in these terms creates an employment relationship, partnership, joint venture, agency or franchise between the affiliate and ASR Consult Ltd.

Affiliates have no authority to make promises, contracts, representations or commitments on behalf of ASR Consult Ltd, GizmoDirect.store, TheBeginnersGuide.store or our authors.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any dispute relating to the programme will be subject to the courts of England and Wales, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
